Hotel JS Excellency, located in the heart of Mahabaleshwar, has a long and rich history dating back to the 1980s. The hotel was founded by Late Mr. Namdeosheth Jadhav and his wife Mrs. Jaywanti Namdeosheth Jadhav who started with humble beginnings.

     The couple faced many struggles in the early years but through hard work and perseverance, they were able to slowly upscale and expand the business. 

Originally named Hotel Kalpana, the hotel changed its name to Hotel JS Excellency to reflect the growth and success of the third generation now running the hotel. The founders laid the groundwork for what the hotel is today, providing comfortable accommodations and hospitality to the many visitors to Mahabaleshwar

From its early days as a small budget hotel to now a thriving mid-range property, Hotel JS Excellency has come a long way over the past four decades thanks to the vision and determination of the Jadhav family.
